The evaluation focused on the effectiveness and relevance of the programme in the Zimbabwean context. The evaluation assessed RWI's academic partnership with law faculties at four universities in Zimbabwe, with a particular focus on of RWI’s methodology to strengthen the human rights capacity of the academic institutions, such as the use of clinical legal education (CLE) for strengthening the competence of human rights in an effort to improve student learning. Furthermore, the evaluation focused on RWI's partnerships with several commissions in Zimbabwe, such as the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission (ZHRC), Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) and Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service (ZPCS).
In collaboration with researchers at Stockholm University, Sthlm Policy Group undertook an evaluation of Swedish strategic secondments to multilateral organisations (United Nations, World Bank) and the European Commission. This evaluation of the RWI Turkey Human Rights Capacity Development Programme assessed the effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, and sustainability of the programme. The purpose of the evaluation was to inform RWI, Sida and its partners whether and how the Programme had achieved its expected results during the period of evaluation, and to identify lessons learned that programme partners can benefit from, as well as provide inputs on the continues needs for support of partners.
The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) commissioned Sthlm Policy Group to evaluate the Geneva Water Hub.
The objective was to assess how the conflict perspective is integrated into SwedBio's operations and give recommendations on how it can be further strengthened in a new programme phase.

In conjunction with the 2014 Stockholm Forum on Security and Development ‘Freedom from Violence’, organized by Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) on 27 March, Stockholm Policy Group (SPG) led a seminar on “The Role of the private sector in supporting the New Deal”. The seminar raised the issue about that the increasing expectations of the private sector to partake and contribute to the management of global challenges. In late 2013, Stockholm Policy Group completed a "Country Corruption Risk Assessment for Somalia" for Sida. The assessment was undertaken after Sweden's approval of a five-year results strategy for development cooperation with Somalia to support the strategy implementation.
