Sthlm Policy Group advised Operation 1325 on women's participation in peace processes. 

Sthlm Policy Group interviewed Operation 1325’s partner organizations in Iraq, Yemen, and Sudan. 

Issues included: (i) peace processes; (ii) partner organizations’ goals, strategy & results; and (iii) partner organizations’ organization & resources. 

Interviews provided perspectives of the partner organizations  from their local context and how they perceive their role and the opportunities to influence peace processes and change societies.  

They described their understanding of peace processes, the role they have played, what is required to become a legitimate actor in a peace process, what does female participation in peace processes mean, in what way they have contributed to the peace process, the results they have achieved, and what were the challenges and obstacles for them to contribute positively.
