Sthlm Policy Group ยท Comments: 1Sthlm Policy Group was commissioned by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to conduct an organisational capacity assessment of the Danish Refugee Council (DRC). The main purpose was to assess DRC's operational and administrative capacity to pursue, underpin and operationalize the priorities of the strategy for Danish Humanitarian Action.
The assessment covered strategic aspects, operational performance, organisational capacity, financial management and external relations. Of key interest was DRC's capacity to plan monitor and measure results and generate learning that improves efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of the interventions.
SPG worked together with Larry Ribbeklint at the KPMG under the direct leadership of Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The team visited field offices and projects in Jordan, Lebanon, Kenya and Uganda. Danida issued the final report in January 2015.
